Get ready for an even bigger and better camping experience than before!

We’re heading out of the city for a few days for a relaxing weekend camping with cocktails, soaking in the sunshine, and floating down the river. 

Join us August 10th - 12th in Carnation, Washington just 45 minutes out of Seattle! Exact camping location will be shared upon registration.

On Sunday, we’re filling up the coolers and heading to the campsite at 3pm. Bring your tent, your favorite floaty, and your fun enthusiasm! 

This trip is a super easy camping experience! Prepare for two nights of camping with fellow BC Members and other industry friends.

We’re mixing it up a bit this year with different camp groups, each led by a camp leader to guide the fun and friendly rivalry. Camp groups can compete in team challenges during the bar competition, adding an extra layer of excitement. We encourage groups to come up with unique themes, making the competition become a mix of creativity, teamwork, and bartending skills!

Nothing beats cocktails in the fresh outdoors with friends whether you’ve met them yet or not. This is a really easy camping experience. 

Here’s what you’ll want to pack:

• Tent

• Sleeping bag

• Bug spray

• Sunscreen

• Snacks

• Floaty (if you plan to go float the river - we recommend a floaty that can tie up to others)

• Water bottle

• Camping chair

• Beach towel

• Clothes for warm weather and cool nights

• Water shoes or flip-flops

• A flashlight or headlamp

• Garbage bags to carry out refuse or dirty items.

*This is a camping expedition. For the enjoyment of all of our guests, anyone camping for the purpose of selling something will be immediately asked to leave.

• Is this car camping?

  Yes, you will be able to unload at the campsite and park nearby.

• Can I bring my RV?

  There are a limited number of RV spots available. If you are interested, please reach out to us. There are no hookups.

• Are there limits on tent sizes?

  No, but be reasonable.

• What if there is a burn ban?

  We will still be able to prepare food for everyone and we will have a fake fire in the fire pit.

• Are kids allowed?

  This is a 21+ event.

• Are dogs allowed?

  Yes, well behaved dogs are allowed. Dog owners are responsible for removing all pet waste from the campsite.

• Do I have to be a member?

  Becoming a Bartender’s Circle member is free! You can sign up on our website at no cost.

• Will there be carpool options from Seattle?

  We cannot arrange carpool options but the Bartender’s Circle Discord can be used by members to work out those possible details.

• What about dietary restrictions?

  While we will have some veggie options, we simply cannot guarantee that we will have options for all dietary needs. If you have a strict diet that you adhere to, we suggest bringing your own food.

• Is there a shower?

  No

• Are there toilets?

  Yes, there are port-a-potties onsite.

• What time can I arrive?

  The earliest arrival on Sunday is 3PM. You are welcome to arrive anytime after that.

• What if I forget something?

  This is easy camping, there is a store relatively close that has essentials.

• Will there be coffee?

  Our camp coffee skills are terrible but there is a coffee spot within walking distance.

• Will there be WIFI?

  This is camping. There’s no WIFI but there is cell phone service.

• Do I need to bring my camp cooking equipment?

  Only if you plan to not eat the provided camp food.

• Is there potable water available at the campsite?

  Yes, there is water available.

• Is firewood provided?

  We will have some firewood but if there is not a burn ban in place we go through quite a bit. We’d love for you to contribute to the pile.

• Is there electricity available at the campsite?

  There is some electricity onsite. This electric is primarily used for the production trailer to keep your meals refrigerated. That said, there is usually an outlet provided for charging devices.

• Are there any recommended hiking trails nearby?

  Yes, Tolt MacDonald Park is nearby and it has some really great trails. https://www.wta.org/go-hiking/hikes/tolt-mcdonald-park

• Are there any specific quiet hours or noise restrictions?

  We aren’t trying to be the fun police - but we ask that you lower volume levels at night as to not be disruptive to others.

• What is the policy on trash disposal at the campsite?

  Pack it in, pack it out. Bring a trash bag with you and plan to remove your trash. There are no trash facilities onsite.

Campground Code of Conduct: Respectful Camper Guidelines

Be Considerate and Respectful: Treat fellow campers with kindness and courtesy. Respect their space, privacy, and belongings.

Keep Noise Levels Considerate: Be mindful of noise levels, especially during late night hours. Keep conversations and activities at a level that won't disturb others.

Resolve Conflicts Peacefully: If conflicts arise, communicate calmly and respectfully. Approach disagreements with empathy and a willingness to find mutually acceptable solutions.

Avoid Overconsumption: While there are few things in life as pleasant as a cold cocktail on a hot day at camp, we ask you to please drink responsibly. Pause and pace yourself. If you are asked to stop drinking by our staff you must stop drinking.

Share Common Spaces Thoughtfully: Be mindful of shared spaces such as picnic areas, restrooms, and communal fire pits. Clean up after yourself and leave these areas tidy for others to enjoy.

Respect Personal Boundaries: Be mindful of personal space and boundaries. Avoid entering others' campsites without permission and respect their need for privacy.

Be Inclusive and Welcoming: Embrace diversity and inclusivity within the camping community. Welcome all campers regardless of background, ethnicity, gender, or orientation.

Offer Help and Support: Be willing to lend a hand or offer assistance to fellow campers in need. Whether it's helping with tent setup, offering directions, or sharing supplies, small acts of kindness can make a big difference.

Promote a Positive Atmosphere: Foster a welcoming and positive atmosphere within the campground. Encourage camaraderie and friendship among fellow campers.

Be Mindful of Pets: Supervise pets to ensure their safety and minimize disturbances to other campers. Clean up after pets (pet owners are responsible for removing waste offsite) and prevent them from wandering into other campsites. All food provided is for humans, not for pets.

Communicate Openly and Respectfully: If issues or concerns arise, communicate openly and respectfully with fellow campers. Approach discussions with a spirit of understanding and cooperation.
